Japan's publisher and developer Capcom admitted and apologized that the recent upgrade to the Steam version of the chororororic elements Resident Evil Village had unintended consequences.
The patch was released on October 14 and included the promised accessibility settings as well as corrections.
Some users, after updating the Resident Evil Village, started flying out and making an error about the incompatibility of the data with the requirement for immediate restarting of the game, which prevents them from continuing.

Capcom, meanwhile, apologized to the players for the inconvenience and assured them that the problem of stalking the customers of Resident Evil Village in Steam had been solved.
