The orbit of the International Space Station has been adjusted to avoid space debris, as described in a report by Roskosmos, published in the Telegram Channel of the State Corporation.

The orbital altitude of ISS has been reported to have increased by 1.75 km to 417.9 km since this manoeuvring took place. During the entire operation of the orbital station, 327 adjustments were made to its orbital altitude, with 176 engines of the Progress cargo ships being used. The last time, the orbital station crew was manoeuvring to avoid space debris in June of this year, the debris of the Cosmos 1408 satellite was to pass at a distance of 285 metres from the station.

It will be recalled that ISS is currently carrying the cosmonauts "Roskosmosmos" of Sergei Prokopiev, Dmitry Petelin and Anna Kikina, astronauts of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of Koichi Wakata.
