Lectures by Nobel Laureates, more than 10,000 events at various sites in the city and 700 hours of continuous broadcasting from more than 400 organizations on the VKontakte social network: all-Russian festival "NAUKA 0+" was held in Moscow from 7 to 9 October.
The theme of this year's festival, "Creating the Future", was by no chance one of the first events, the "Students in Schools" event. Two hundred young scientists went to school to teach open lessons and talk about what they were like as scientists and researchers.
The festival was held at hundreds of sites throughout the capital, including: the MGU, RAN, the Supreme Park, the Expot Centre, universities, museums and scientific centres in Moscow; for example, the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Rae Kwon Chung, gave a lecture at the main capital university on how modern economies exacerbate the environmental crisis; and, in the Bureau building, the human brain device.
