Commercial drone overflying Everest for the first time in history

The world's leading manufacturer of commercial unmanned aerial vehicles, the Chinese company DJI, has announced the first ever overflight by such a vehicle of the highest point of our planet, Mount Everest.

The DJI Mavic 3 drone was able to rise to a height of 9,232 metres, and this is because the operating instruction states that the drone is capable of flying up to 6,000 metres above sea level and operating at temperatures up to -10 °C. Of course, the temperature in the Himalayas at this altitude was much lower.
