Sony announced the ZV-1F digital camera, which is aimed at video-players. The new one is different from the previous ZV-1 model with an extended set of functions and a more attractive price.
ZV-1F uses the same CMOS matrix, Exmor RS in inch format, with 20.1 megapixel resolution as in ZV-1.
It supports the recording of a 4K video format at a speed of 30 frames per second. There are several advanced shoot profiles, including S-Log2, S-Log3 and HLG. The camera supports the recording of the video only in 8-bit format 4:2:0. The camera is suitable for recording and transmitting the video to smartphone via wireless Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, live broadcasting and recording of vertical spots, making it attractive to content creators in Instagram*, TikTok or YouTube Shorts.
A directed microphone with a wind shield is provided for recording the sound. To connect the outer microphone, you can use a 3.5 mm split. The design also includes Microsoft HDMI and USB Type-C interfaces. In addition, ZV-1F has some features that can be seen in other Sony cameras. This involves digital stabilization of the image, auto-direction in the eyes, tracking of objects and shifting the focus between them, improving the colour of the filter, etc.
The cost of Sony ZV-1F's digital camera is $500, and it will be available at the end of this month.
