The NVIDIA ran the Verified Priority Access test mode, where gamers and content authors will be able to purchase GeForce RTX 4090 without having to "capture" its appearance in stores.
The initiative is very similar to the EVGA Priority Access program, which had priority in the producer ' s turn and was able to reserve new video cards in advance. The NVIDIA VPA is assumed to cover only its own NVIDIA products, i.e. the Foundations Edition, and operates only in some countries. An invitation to participate in the program is sent through the GeForce Experience system, so without registration, it will not be possible to gain priority access to the new video cards.
The VPA pilot has been launched on Best Buy networks. The company's internal operating mechanisms have not yet revealed the number of invitations that will be sent out or the criteria for the identification of gamers. But it is known that some GeForce Experience users will receive unique URL links through which to order a new GeForce RTX 4090 Foundation on the local retail network.
