Speculators back in the case: GeForce RTX 4090 went missing from stores and appeared on eBay at an o

The buyers came back, and their goal, as easily as they can guess, was a new flagship video map of GeForce RTX 4090, only yesterday it went on sale in shops, and today it's no longer there, but there's a lot of new sales announcements on the secondary trading sites, and even the demand seems to be there, but the speculators are too excited.

On average, GeForce RTX 4090 is offered on eBay at a price of between $2,300 and $3,200, while Amazon's sales are based on a $3,000 mark. The HotHardware resource examined the last completed auctions on the American eBay and found that in some cases the video cards were sold at a price of more than two and a half times the recommended price, which for GeForce RTX 4090 is $1599.

The highest stakes were on the ASUS ROG Strix GéForce RTX 4090 OC's video card, several deals were concluded above $4,000, and Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity, which someone bought for $999, but most likely the buyers will not see the money.

Presumably, buyers aren't gonna pay for the transactions they've described, but they're just trying to teach speculators, and that's what happened last and the first half of this year -- people pretended to bid and move prices, and then they just didn't pay them, and there were even communities of resistance to speculators on Reddit -- maybe the same thing now -- people just, though, piss off those who overdo the price too much.

But if the buyers had been successful with the video cards before, the situation is now completely different and hardly worth paying. First, there is absolutely no demand from the engineers now, because after Ethereum's transition to the Proof-Stake model, the video cards for the production of this cryptation have become unhelpful, and in the case of other currencies, the video mapping has become simply unprofitable.

Second, if previously there was a problem with the deficit of graphic processors, and the video cards were simply few, now we don't know how fast new shipments of video cards will get into the shops. It is hoped that the NVIDIA will not allow the deficit. Finally, it will soon be necessary to debut the more accessible graphic accelerators of GeForce RTX 4080, as well as the AMD Radeon RX 7000.
