Data on social media malfunctions recorded by DownRadar: most of the reports came from users in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Minsk, with more than 3,500 complaints about problems in the operation of the resource. Most of the users of the platform reported a general malfunction, 15% of the cases complained about the unstable operation of the mobile application, 13% of the users reported a non-working website, and 10% of the users did not work as a messenger.
The VKontakte administration confirmed some problems: some users did indeed report to RBC by the social media service; as at 11:55 ms, specialists had already completed the re-establishment of the service.
Prior to that, the last major VKontakte malfunction occurred in early February, and the reasons for the disruption remained unknown, but the administration was able to restart the social network quickly.
