Meta*Platforms reported on Friday that about 1 million Facebook users could leak due to security problems in external applications downloaded from Apple and Alphabet Internet shops.
This year, the company ' s security service identified more than 400 harmful applications for Android and iOS, which, under the guise of photoreaders and other services, stole accounts from users for Facebook entry.* According to a security report, about 40% of the applications were disguised as photo editing tools, the rest of which fall into other categories, including mobile games, Lifestyle applications, health trackers, business utilities and VPN.
