Not so soon: Steam has changed the timing of the long- suffering remake of System Shock

The blogger Wario64 noted that on the page of the Sistem Shock remake from Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios in Steam's digital service, information about the date of release had changed.

For example, since the middle of last December, System Shock has been announced for 2022, and since April, the game has been in a polishing phase.

It appears that the polishing has been prolonged since October 6 on Steam's System Shock page instead of the release date box. The developers' notes on the social media are still silent, but probably the announcement isn't behind the mountain.

The last time the System Shock was brought to the August 2022 Gamescom exhibition, where the game was given a taste of visitors. At the same event, an 8-minute gameplay video debuted at the end of the remake.

In early September, developers said they were on , and still plan a closed beta test for Kickstarter depositors and an updated demo for Steam.

The remake of System Shock was funded at the Kickstarter Crowdfing site as early as the summer of 2016. At that stage, the release was planned for the end of 2017, but gradually moved further and further.
