Acer introduced a very light 16-inch Swift Edge 16 laptop based on Ryzen PRO 6000

Acer introduced Swift Edge 16's ultra-portative business laptop, and the new one is equipped with AMD Ryzen and Ryzen PRO and is prepared to propose a model choice up to the eight-nuclear and 16-point Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U.

The laptop received a 16-inch OLED disk with a side ratio of 16:10 and support for the resolution of 3,840 x 2,400 pixels.

The six-nuclear Ryzen 56600U and Ryzen 5 PRO 6650U with frequencies of up to 4.5 GHz, as well as the eight-nuclear Ryzen 76800U and Ryzen 7 PR 6850U with frequencies of up to 4.7 GHz. The company also points to the use of Microsoft Pluton hardware in laptops.

Laptops are ready to offer up to 32 Gbytes of LPDDR5, as well as a hard-wall NVMe storage device up to 1 Tbyte. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless standards are supported, as well as a webcam supported by resolution 1080p.

The laptop weighs 1.17 kg. The laptop is equipped with two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2x2, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5-audio.

Acer Swift Edge's laptop sells 16 in October, and in the United States, the new laptop will be released at a price of $1,500. In Europe and the Middle East, the laptop will start with Y1499.
