Nintendo and the film company Illumination, as part of Nintendo Direct's special issue, presented the Super Mario Bros. Movie as the debut trailer for the Super Mario Bros.
According to Bowzer's story, Jack Black is attacking the penguin kingdom, and the brave seabirds are willing to resist the leader of the army's turtles, but they are powerless against his fire breath.
In the meantime, Mario leaves the traditional green pipe and finds himself in an unknown Grybne kingdom, where he meets an expert on Toad's mushrooms and travels to meet a new adventure.
The audience was thrilled with the quality of the animation, design and voice of Bowser, but Mario's duplicate raised questions: the famous plumber, spoken by Chris Pratt, speaks in the film without a familiar Italian accent.
"The Super Mario Bros. Movie" premiered on April 7, North America, and April 28 in Japan.
