Astro photographer made a beautiful picture of a massive plasma plume coming out of the sun. According to the author of the paper, the fire thread known as the coronal mass release spread into space more than one and a half million kilometres from the surface of the sun.
A professional astrographer and a resident of Arizona Andrew McCarthy on September 24, shared a picture on Reddit on September 25 in Sabreddite r/space.
The ester release was "the biggest CME I've ever seen," McCarthy wrote on Reddit. Initially, the plasma was contained in a large loop connected to the surface of the Sun, known as the Protuberan, and then burst into space at a speed of about 160,000 km/h.
