It has become known that the social network Instagram* will soon increase the amount of advertising content that users see while interacting with the platform. According to available data, advertising will be shown on the Overview tab and on the user pages, which the platform developers believe will open up new opportunities for advertisers.
Already, Instagram* shows ads when running channels on the Survey page. However, in the future, advertisers will be able to post advertisements that will be posted as soon as they move to the Survey tab. Such announcements will be accompanied by an appropriate label and a "Recognize More" button, so users will understand clearly that they are the ones in front of them. In addition, advertising will appear directly in the user profile. At present, when a photo or video on the profile page is pressed, it will be possible to look at other publications in the form of a tape. In the future, advertising content will appear in this tape.
Instagram* stated that advertising would only be placed in . At this stage, the innovation is being tested with a limited number of advertisers and users from the United States; when it is planned to be distributed to all users of the platform, it is not yet known.
