Xiaomi introduced the Redmi A1+ budget smartphone at a price of $85

In parallel with the presentation of the Xiaomi 12T flagship smartphone series, Xiaomi released a budget smartphone, Redmi A1+, at a cost of $85.

The new model is based on a four-dimensional MediaTek Helio A22 processor with a tactical frequency of up to 2 GHz and a graphic accelerator of the IMG PowerVR GE8300. LPDDR4X has an operational memory of 2 or 3 Gbytes, an eMMC 5.1 and 32 Gbyte flash drive storage capacity. The memory capacity can be increased by a microSD memory slot up to 1 Tbyte.

The smartphone Redmi A1+ is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS-display with a HD+ resolution, a 60 Hz update rate and a 20:9 side ratio, and a 5-megapixel frontal chamber with a selfie/village diaphragm at the top of the display. The smartphone counter includes an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 diaphragm with an additional 0.3 megapixel sensor and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.

A 5,000 mAh battery supported by a 10-W fast wire charger provides up to 30 hours of autonomous operation in call mode and up to 22 hours of video viewing.

The smartphone specifications also include the wireless adapters Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, two SIM card slots, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio distribution for earphones. The device operates under the control of Android 12 Go Edition. The color of the shell is light blue, light green and black.
