The Chinese company Xiaomi officially introduced the Redmi Pad tablet computer, as expected. The device has medium-level technical characteristics and can boast at a competitive price.
Redmi Pad received a 10.6-inch LCD disc supported by the 2000 x 1,200 pixels resolution and 90 Hz update frequency. Four dynamics supported by Dolby Atmos are placed on the perimeter of the display. An 8-megapixel camera is located on the top of the front surface and is capable of tracking user movements during video calls. Another 8-megapixel camera is installed on the back of the shell.
An eight-nuclear processor, MediaTek Helio G99, operating at a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz, is the main source of the graphics. The engine is controlled by the Mali G57 MC2 booster. The buyers will have access to versions of Redmi Pad from 3, 4 or 6 Gbytes of operational memory, as well as to a 64 or 128 Gbyte storage device. The battery can be operated autonomously with a capacity of 8,000 mAh with a fast charging capacity of up to 18 W.
The tablet operates under the control of the Android 12 operating system with the MIUI 13 signature interface. It is produced in light grey, dark gray and green color versions of the shell. The 3 Gbyte OZU and 64 Gbyte ROMs cost about $160, while the 6 Gbyte OZU and 128 Gbyte ROM will have to pay $210.
