LG Display will soon begin production of OLED panels with a diagonal of 27 and 32 inches, reports the Korean newspaper Hankooki. According to it, the production of 27-inch OLED panels will begin at the end of October, and the production of 32-inch panels will start a little later, but also in this quarter. Accordingly, the availability of monitors with such panels should be expected early next year.
According to the source, LG Display, whose W-OLED panels use more than 20 brands in its products, is actively increasing the production of medium-sized panels for small television and monitors.
It is also reported that, in addition to launching 32-inch OLED panels in this quarter, the company is planning to increase the production of 42-inch panels on OLED matrices in the near future. Unfortunately, no details on the specifications of the new panels were provided by the newspaper. It appears that the launch of the new LG Display is expected to take place in early January at the CES 2023 exhibition.
The LG Electronics currently delivers 27-inch and 32-inch Ultra Fine OLED Pro monitors, equipped with JOLED panels. In August 2022, LG Electronics introduced a 45-inch OLED panel of LG Display.
