Google introduced a 165 cm keyboard -- all keyboards in the same row

The Japanese unit Google presented a really weird device, the "one-dimensional" Gboard Bar keyboard. It is a rather strange design in which all the keys are built in one row with a length of 1.65 m. It is argued that the developers will be able to use it in some way to search for bugs in the code and other people will be able to use them for other purposes.

The ad says that the Gboard Bar, for example, will expand the personal space by preventing other employees in the office from moving too close, while the video provides rather strange arguments, such as that the user will always remember where the key is.

In addition, the "one-dimensional" panel has very little space on the table, because it is only a few centimetres thick, and it is also noted that the keyboard will not be able to relax a cat, which is too uncomfortable for that.

Finally, Google Japan says that the Gboard Bar can even be used as a walking cane during long journeys. It should be noted that the product is more like a joke and the company is unlikely to expect a serial production. Nevertheless, Google Japan has downloaded all the specifications and instructions for creating the GitHub keyboard, so those who are inspired by the idea can really try to create something like this.
