Rumors: The Kojima Productions and Sony deal includes the continuation of Death Stringing

Insider Dusk Golem, in Resetera's forum, shared the alleged behind-the-scenes details of the unannounced continuation of Death Stranding's courier action from Kojima Productions.

According to Dusk Golem, the Death Stranding sequel goes under the code name Ocean and is part of a long-term agreement between Kojima Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

The deal is supposed to be multigame and will expire after the completion of the conditional Death Standing 2. The parties are now deciding, according to the insider, whether to extend the contract.

As a reminder, the star of the original Death Stringing, Norman Ridus, announced in August 2021 that he had participated in the negotiations for the continuation of the game, and in May 2022 he announced the start of the development.

In November 2019, Death Stranding made her debut on PS4, in July 2020, and in September 2021, she also appeared on PS5. In addition to the sequel, Kojima Productions was also involved in a cloud game for Xbox.
