Next Tuesday, October 4th, there will be a free-of-charge Overwatch 2 shooter that will replace the first part. As we reported earlier, the game will require a verification of the account via the SMS, but the registration of the telephone number has proved problematic for many users.
Blizzard Entertainment previously said that the Overwatch 2 game would require a link between the phone number and the Battle.net account.
But, according to numerous reports in the Blizzard Entertainment forums, players have problems linking their phones to Battlelet.net records. Some say the system informs them that their number is already in use, while others say that they can't get a message with a confirmation code at all.
The Blizzard Entertainment itself has not commented yet. Support staff on the website report that a full response will take a few days to launch the World of Warcraft: Wrat of The Lich King Classic.
Overwatch 2 will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Sitch.
