The Director-General of Tesla, Ilon Mack, demonstrated a widely publicized humanoid robot, Optimus, at an AI Day electric vehicle manufacturer's event on Friday.
The billionaire said that the production of robots would cost more than his car business, and the mask said that it hoped to move beyond the production of unmanned vehicles.
The robot's prototype went on stage and waved to a sitting audience, and the company released a social media video showing Optimus carrying a box, watering plants and moving metal bars at the car manufacturer's factory.

"Our goal is to create a useful humanoid robot as soon as possible," said Mask at an event at Tesla's office in Palo Alto, California. "There is still much work to be done to improve Optimus and prove it."
The businessman said that humanoid robots now have "brains missing" in view of the lack of intelligence to live independently in the world, and they are also very expensive and produced in small quantities.
On the contrary, according to his Maska, Optimus will be an "extraordinaryly capable robot" and the founder of Tesla plans to start production in large quantities, eventually millions of units. It is expected that the robot will cost much less than a car, less than $200,000.
Ilon Mask said that he believed that in the future robots could be used in homes, they could cook lunches, mow lawns and care for the elderly, and that Optimus could even become "friends" for people or their sexual partner.
