In a presentation at the Intel Innovation Conference, the head of Intel, Patrick Gelsinger, has set the date for the start of the sale of the discrete Arc A770 graphic accelerator.
According to Intel Director-General Patrick Gelsinger, the Arc A770 test samples are on their way to viewers, and the reviews will be available at the time the map enters the market.
Intel Arc A770 features have long been known. It uses a full-size ACM-G10 graphics processor with 32 Xe kernels, 32 ray tracks, and 512 XML matrix engines. The graphics chip uses a 2100 MHz frequency. Intel explains that this figure reflects the expected GPU frequency rather than the maximum. In other words, depending on the load, it may be higher or lower than that.
The map supports 16 or 8 GDDR6 memory configurations with an effective 17.5 GHz frequency depending on the volume. Intel notes that in the second case the memory tyre discharge is 256 bits and the memory capacity is 560 Gbyte/s.
In the reference version of Arc A770 Limited Edition, the video map will only be released from 16 Gbyte memory.
