Windows 11 alerts to inappropriate password input

Microsoft has introduced a new tool that will help Windows 11 protect users from theft of their passwords. The component is called Enhanced Phishing Protection, and is designed to prevent phishing attacks.

The Windows 1122H2 update package ' s Enhanced Physing Protection component releases a warning if the user tries to input its registration data into applications or websites that the system considers potentially dangerous. The password protection will also work against its own Microsoft applications, including Block and Word.

The developer specified that the tool is designed to protect users from saving passwords in inappropriate applications and to protect them from hackers or fraudsters. The detection of suspicious programs and web resources is done using the SmartScreen platform. The password protection in Windows 11 is defaultally active, but the password protection tool is disabled and will have to be activated on its own.

An important innovation to improve security is the upgrade of Windows 11, which controls the launch of software using an updated daily artificial intelligence model.
