Slime Rancher 2 started better than expected — 100,000 copies in the first six hours

The co-founder and CEO, Monomi Park, Nick Popović, in his microblog, described the first successes of the new studio game, a fantastic adventure with elements of Slime Rancher 2.

In the first six hours of its release, Slime Rancher 2 was reported to have flown more than 100,000 copies worldwide, far ahead of Popović's most optimistic forecast.

Popovich also noted that in just one hour on 22 September, Slime Rancher 2 had already bought more people in order than Slime Rancher on a record day for her and continued to sell at .

By comparison, the total sales of the original Slime Rancher six years after the start of early access were 5 million copies.
