Construction has begun on a plant that can remove 5,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year from air

The American CarbonCapture startup began construction in Wyoming of a carbon dioxide capture unit to further bury it underground.

In the first phase, about 25 modules that could remove about 12,000 tonnes of CO2 per year will be launched, followed by a gradual build-up of the number of modules and eventually the capacity of the complex will be increased to 5000000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year; it is interesting that, at least in the first phase, this carbon dioxide control complex is itself one of the sources of atmospheric pollution.

The process of gas capture involves heating special cartridges with sorbents to 85 °C, for which natural gas will be burned. However, it is planned to convert the complex fully into renewable solar and wind energy. The project, Project Bison, is expected to reach its full potential by 2030. In the meantime, the Vivo X80 Lite smartphone has received a changing color of the hull and a 50-megapixel front.
