The launch of the lunar mission Artemis I has been postponed again, this time due to the approaching

The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration again postponed the launch of the SLS launch vehicle with Orion to the Moon as part of the Artemis I mission, which was due to take place next week, on 27 September. This time, the launch was delayed due to weather.

A tropical storm, Yang, which was formed in the Caribbean, was approaching Florida and could soon become a severe hurricane, and the United States Space Agency stated that it would be decided whether to return the missile and spaceship from the launch site to the main Vehicle Assembly Building hangar on Sunday.

," reported in NASA's blog published today, September 24.

The SLS missile can withstand up to 74 knots of wind at the launch site. NASA will take about three days to prepare and move SLS back to the hangar.

On 21 September, key fuel refuelling tests for the Space Launch System were conducted to determine whether the agency's specialists had successfully eliminated the leak of liquid oxygen that had disrupted the missile's launch attempt on 3 September.

If the team decides to leave Artemis 1 at the site, the mission can still take place on the reserve launch date of October 2nd, otherwise the flight time of the missile to the Moon will be significantly delayed.
