The short video service started to test "dieslists" as early as April, and now it will be available to all users around the world. A negative voice can be cancelled by pressing the same badge again, and only the user that sent the "dieslake" will be able to see that he did so. Unlike the number of likes, the number of negative ratings is not publicly displayed; it will become a sort of internal tool for updating, suggesting the Verge resource, although TikTok did not explain what the negative voices would affect. For direct communication with the administration, it was possible to leave complaints to comments.
The ability to vote against a content has long been available on many other sites, such as Reddit: it is the most accessible way for users to express disagreement, and for authors to evaluate the community's response. Last year, the slides started testing Twitter, but it never became publicly available.
