On the official IGN channel on YouTube, there was a gameplay video of the strategy in World War II Anthura, Company of Heroes 3. In an up-to-date piece, the authors of the publication shared with the developers the exclusive "Desert Route Raid" scenario, which will be part of a story campaign in North Africa.
The mission begins some time after the Battle of Tobruk, and Nazi General Rommel plans to attack the British fuel depots by sending subversives to the front of the enemy.
You can't use tanks and other enemy equipment at the Desert Route Raid. You have to rely solely on mobile but highly vulnerable scrambled units, so speed and scams are the player's main allies.
The North African operation, unlike the Italian operation, will not have a dynamic map and, in terms of structure, will be completely linear; the player will not be able to influence its outcome; the main character of this set of missions will be the Nazi General Rommel, the commander of the Osi troops in North Africa, who is called the "Lis desert".
The Company of Heroes 3 will be available on November 17, for the PC.
