Amazon announced updated versions of Fire HD 8, the new Fire HD 8 models, Fire HD 8 Plus, Fire HD 8 Kids and Fire HD 8 Kids Pro. The new ones became thinner, easier and faster. The sales will start next month.
Amazon stated that the Fire HD 8 model is 30% faster than the previous version. It is 13 hours longer than the previous version, which is an hour longer than the previous version. The battery is charged via the USB-C port. It takes five hours to complete the battery. Amazon also claims that Fire HD 8 is twice as strong as the iPad Mini in drop tests.
All the Fire HD 8 tablets received an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 points, as well as an unnamed 6-nuclear processor with a frequency of up to 2 GHz. Amazon also stated that Fire tablets would have a Tap to Alexa function that would allow the use of Alexa by touching instead of voice. This function would be useful to speech users.
