The CEO of Electronic Arts, Andrew Wilson, spoke at the Goldman Sachs conference about what to expect from a series of Battlefield military jokers in the future.
According to Wilson, Battlefield V and Battlefield 2042 were successful, but by its very nature the franchise is stable.
Wilson gave the example of "Star Wars." In a distant galaxy, too, things aren't always smooth, but the right people in the right places can invent the series again and make it grow further.
" said Wilson.
Wilson also noted that Battlefield may be affected by the uncertainty of which platforms Call of Duty will be available on. The merger of Microsoft and Activision eventually threatens to leave PlayStation without one of the main franchises of our time.
He thinks Wilson.
The future of Battlefield in Electronic Arts has already been planned: DICE will continue to work on the network component of the series, Ridgeline Games will take over the plot campaign in the universe, and Ripple Effect focuses on the creation of something.
