The developers of Slipgate Ironworks, together with 3D Realms, announced Phantom Fury, a continuation of Ion Fury's retrocutter. The project's debut trailer was introduced as part of the Realms Deep Digital event.
The main heroine of Phantom Fury will again be Shelly "Bomba" Harrison from the previous game. She was taken out of the coma, given a new bionic hand, and given a major assignment to find the artifact "Yacre Demone".
The key feature of Phantom Fury is the interactive world. Developers argue that the player will be able to interact with level-based computers, arcade machines, helicopters, and more than that.
- that's how they describe the geography of the major heroine's adventures.
Shelly Harrison will have more than 20 weapons, including armor-piercing shotguns, foams, bowling ball bombs, and controlled drones.
Phantom Fury will be released in 2023 on PC, PS5, Nintendo Watch, Xbox Series X and S.
