BenQ released a TH575 projector for $599 console games

BenQ announced a TH575 projector designed to target console games. The new one corresponds to the Full HD format, i.e. it forms an image with a 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution.

The device provides a brightness of up to 3,800 lumen ANSI and a contrast of 15,000:1. The frequency of updating is 60 Hz. The image can be as large as 150 inches in diagonal size. 88% of the color space Rec.709 is declared and the palette has 1.07 billion color shades.

The delay is 16.7 ms, which results in a smooth game process. The special game mode provides a clear display of objects, increasing detail even in the darkest scenes.

Automatic correction of vertical trapeceid distortions has been implemented, and there is a 1.1-fold zoom for projection from different distances. The LampSave function allows the light source to extend the life of the light source.

The equipment consists of two HDMI interfaces, USB Type-A port, 3.5 mm standard audio and 10 W dynamics. The dimensions are 296 x 120 x 221 mm and approximately 2.5 kg.

The BenQ TH575 projector can be purchased at a cost of $599.
