The designers of Square Enix and Acquire as part of Nintendo Direct's September release announced the Octopath Traveler II, a continuation of the Oktopath Traveler's role-playing game, with sales exceeding 3 million copies.

The events of Octopath Traveler II are taking place in the fantasy world of Solistia, whose eastern and western continents are divided by the sea, and the recent new era has given life to revolutionary steam technologies.

The eight inhabitants of this kingdom travel from one place to another for their own ends, and the players will be invited to take on the role of any one of them and freely explore new lands, relying on the unique talents of heroes.

The creators of Octopath Traveler II promise different backgrounds, motives and skills for each of the eight characters, branded for a series of graphics, day and night shifts, familiar and some new gameplay mechanics.
