Epson released the MFI Exposition Home XP-5200 with a voice control

Epson announced a multifunctional device called Exposition Home XP-5200 for home use. The new one combines printer, scanner, and copy machine capabilities with Wi-Fi wireless support.

The system is based on Epson's innovative print chip PrecionCore Micro TFP. It is a piezoelectrical element with a thickness of not more than 1 mm, a camera system and canals through which ink is received, and a printing head plate that pulls ink drops onto paper. Technology provides high speed and rich colors.

The Exposition Home XP-5200 model supports the maximum resolution for printing 4,800 × 1,200 DPI . Speed reaches 14 pages per minute in monochrome mode and 7.5 pages per minute in coloured mode. The automatic two-way printing and photoprinting functions have been implemented without a frame.

The device is equipped with a 2.4-inch display, a Wi-Fi adapter 4802.11 b/g/n, a USB port and a 150-leaf paper tray. Possible voice control from a smartphone via Alexa, Siri or Google Associate.

In the operating mode, Express Home XP-5200 has a size of 375 x 503 x 187 mm; the weight is 5.4 kg.
