LG Electronics presented a 42-inch OLED Flex TV at the IFA Electronics Exhibition.
A similar technological solution has already been used in the Xeneon Flex 45WQHD240 game monitor of Corsair, which, by the way, was developed in the LG Display partnership. It is also based on the OLED matrix of the South Korean manufacturer, but with a diagonal of 45 inches.
LG notes that in the Flex TV, it reduces visual artifacts.
The screen of the television can be tilted to an angle of 20 degrees or tilted to an angle of up to 5 degrees. The function of changing the curve of the screen has several pre-set settings. The TV is equipped with an adjustable height counter with a move up or down by 140 mm. The LG OLED Flex supports the 4K resolution and the update frequency of 120 Hz. The screen is equipped with 100 per cent color accuracy, a response time of 0.1 ms, a low delay and support for Dolby Vision. The TV is equipped with two frontal dynamics of 40 W.
The new game has been supported by several game features. For example, for various game genres, there is a virtual change in the size of the image to 32 or 27 inches. A new Game application is built to support the personal features, as well as to allow the use of labels for the rapid launch of popular applications such as Twitch and YouTube. It also provides a list of external input devices that are connected. In the LG Gaming Optimizer menu, individual image and sound settings are added to a variety of sound settings for selected game genres. On the game settings page, there are an evalier, switches for AI Game Sound and Dolby Atmos and other features that allow the user to adjust the game process more precisely under himself. The built-in Multi View function in LX3 allows simultaneous viewing of content from two different sources and the necessary audio channel.
To connect the PC or consoles, HDMI 2.1 is separated. The Switching Hub function allows the use of a television-based microphone, as well as any devices connected via USBs, such as a garnish or keyboard, together with a PC connected via the HDMI cable. It also supports VRR, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium and automatic low delay mode.
The manufacturer did not report the cost of LG OLED Flex.
