The launch of the new ASUS game smartphone, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, will take place before the end of next month.
Although new to the ROG Phone 6 game series already introduced, including the Phone 6 and RoG Phone 6 Pro models, it is different from the previous mobile platform used. If a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset was used in previous models, it would be equipped with MediaTek Democracy 9000+.
The new model will be available in several regional markets: New York, Berlin and Taipei. It is known that the MediaTek flagship chipset supports LPDDR5X and provides a maximum tactical frequency of up to 3.05 GHz. However, other specifications of new developments are not yet known.
According to previous leaks, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will receive a 165 Hz update frequency display, a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, and possibly a 6,000 mH battery with 65 W charge. The previous models of the series have 6.78-inch AMOLED-displays with Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+ support and ABM with similar storage capacity, as well as triple back-up cameras.
According to AnTuTu, previously published by network informants, the model scored 1146594 more than its predecessors Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+gen 1.
