Developers from the French studio Shiro Games have published a trailer of the largest upgrade for their medieval tactical RPG Wartales. A new free content, including a big city and storytellers, will appear next month.
The details of the second content update were revealed at a preliminary show in Gamescom 2022, where PKGamesN journalists visited among others. The creators will add to the game the rich city of Gosenberg, inspired by the wine-making regions of France. Wine is the main value and main source of profit for this place, but not everyone here lives well. The city is divided into two areas with very different income levels. New trials, secrets, mini-games and plot tasks are promised in which users will solve the murder of one of the seven local aristocrats.

The first content update, Haragås Marshlands, was released on March 23, and introduced a new region, a storyline, characters, and awards.
In the June update of the road map, developers indicated that after The Great Gosenberg would release another update with a new region and content, and that new combat regimes, tests and a rise in the character ' s maximum level of development are planned. Support is also expected for an online cooperative with a four-user limit: players will be able to help each other in fighting, sharing objects and resting together in the camp.
