Sony Interactive Entertainment and the developers of Naughty Dog in a new video and publication on PlayStation's blog explained how the recent remake of The Last of Us differed from its remaster.
Remember, The Last of Us Part I will be supported on PlayStation 5 by 60 human resources/s created from scratch, improved gameplay, management, and II, as well as an expanded set of accessibility settings.
According to the creative project manager Sean Eskeig, who was the leading animator of the show ads at the original The Last of Us, the remake differs from the remake.
Thanks to technological advances and lessons learned since 2013, the team reworked all aspects of the game, trying not to depart from the original vision, but moving even closer to it.
For example, because of PS3 restrictions, some battle scenes in The Last of Us were scripted, while in the remake they were really lost, and there was an increase in the number of active NPCs, with only eight on the PS3.
Among other things, there are more dynamic encounters with enemies, the evolution of the close combat, recycled animations, and additional diving through a three-dimensional sound.
The Last of Us Part I will be on sale on September 2 on PS5, and shortly thereafter on PC. The first reviews will appear on August 31 at 6 p.m. Moscow, but the players are already inflammating torches: the $70 value does not seem justified to all.
