Twitter had a large-scale malfunction, and the social network had been made available to mobile users, but browser users for desktop computers had significant problems in many regions of the world.
Ironically, it was on Twitter that dozens of posts reported that the social network did not work, but it was easy access from mobile devices that allowed users to complain about the lack of connectivity.
The DownDetector service, which collects statistics on complaints about website failures, also shows that the US, the UK, the European Union, and other countries, regardless of which platform users use PC or Mac, and the #TwitterDown tags, are reported to have even fallen into social media trends.
At the moment, Twitter access has been restored. The company does not report the reasons for the malfunction.
