Next week, on September 6, Huavei will host an event in China that is expected to present a series of Mat 50 smartphones, including the Mat 50, Mat 50e, Matt 50 Pro and Mat 50 RS Edition.

Based on the leaky photographs of the protective glass for the Mat 50 Pro display, the smartphone screen will have a wide cut for the front camera.

A well-known insider, Digital Chat Station, claims that Mat 50 Pro will receive a curved 1.5K-resolution screen, a term used in China to indicate a resolution display between QHD and Full HD. According to GSmarena.com, the first smartphone on the market with such a screen was Redmi K50 Ultra with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels.

According to online sources, Mat 50 Pro will receive Kirin 9000S, an improved version of Kirin 9000 chip. Whether this processor will be in the Mate 50 RS Edition is not yet known, as some sources claim that the stocks of these chips are already coming to an end, and because of US sanctions, the company is unable to resume production.
