MSI announced a G272C monitor designed to be used in game systems. It was introduced on a 27-inch diagonal VA matrix with a 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution, which corresponds to the Full HD format.
The display has a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a contrast of 3,000:1 and a dynamic contrast of 100000000:1. The horizontal and vertical angles of vision reach 178 degrees. 89 per cent of Adobe RGB colour space and 92.3 per cent of DCI-P3 space are declared.
The panel has a curved shape with a radius of curvature of 1000R. It is said that this corresponds perfectly to the field of vision of the human being, thus providing eye comfort during long game sessions.
The MPRT response time is equal to 1 ms, the update frequency is 170 Hz. The new feature is Night Vision, which helps to improve the image of dark scenes in films or games. This gives an advantage over competitions in virtual space. The AMD FreeSync Premium technology is responsible for eliminating frame gaps and improving the smoothness of the game process.
The monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0b interfaces, DP 1.2a and a standard 3.5 mm audio signal. The screen angle can be adjusted to 25 degrees. The price is not called.
