BenQ announced EX270M and EX270QM monitors with 240 Hz update frequency

BenQ introduced the games monitors EX270M and EX270QM, the first models of the Mobiuz family to have a 240 Hz update frequency and a GtG response time of 1 ms.

The devices are performed on an IPS 27 inch diagonal matrix. The first of these panels has a Full HD resolution.

The brightness in both cases is 400 cd/m2, the contrast is 1000:1. The angles of the horizontal and vertical vision are as high as 178 degrees. Support for HDR10 is proposed. The EX270QM model has a VESA DisplayHDR 600 certificate: peak luminance is 600 cd/m2.

For the EX270M monitor, 99 per cent color space sRGB is declared and the number of reproducible shades is 16.7 million. The EX270QM version provides 98 per cent color space coverage DCI-P3 and the ability to reproduce 1.07 billion shades.

Both are equipped with an audio system of 2.1 with stereophonic dynamics of 2W each and subwoofer at 5 W. There is a 3.5 mm nest for headphones. Two HDMI interfaces, the DisplayPort 1.4 Connector and the USB 3.0 concentrater are foreseen.

A set of Eye Care technologies to reduce eye fatigue has been implemented. These are Flicker-free and Low Blue Light tools, as well as the Brightness Intelligence Plus tool to automatically optimize brightness and color temperature.

The Mobiuz EX270M and EX270QM monitors cost Euro400 and Euro800 respectively.
