Vuzix announced Blade 2 completed reality glasses targeting corporate users, health workers, engineers, etc.
The device has a visualization system for the right eye, which allows 480 x 480 pixels to be resolved; the brilliance exceeds 2,000 cd/m2; the angle of the field of vision in the diagonal is 20 degrees.
The gadget's heart is a Qualcomm processor with four computing nuclei. The equipment includes a three-axle gyroscope and accelerometer, stereophonic dynamics, an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus, two microphones with sound control devices, and a USB 2.0 Micro-B port. The device carries 40 Gbyte flashbacks.
The Android 11 operating system is used as a software platform. The voice control is maintained, and a sensor panel is also located on one of the floors. An accompanying mobile application is available for smartphones based on Android and iOS.
The Vuzix Blade 2 smarts will be sold in September at an estimated price of $1,300.
