Internet sources report that the Chinese company Vivo is shortly announcing the X Fold S smartphone, an improved version of the X Fold smartphone, which became the company's first flexible display.
The X Fold model, shown on the images, debuted in April of this year. The device was designed in a book format with an 8.03-inch AMOLED screen folding inside the shell. The outer part has a 6.53 inch diagonal screen and a resolution of 1080 x 2,520 pixels. The update frequency of both panels is 120 Hz.
The pre-release smartphone X Fold S will inherit the first-parent display configuration, but will receive a different platform. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with a tactical frequency of up to 3.0 GHz, will give way to the Snapdragon 8+gen 1 chip, which operates at a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz. The battery capacity will increase from 4,600 to 4,700 mAh. In addition, the fast conductive charging power will rise from 66 W to 80 W.
The camera system isn't gonna change, according to the data released, it's a 16-Mp facial block, as well as a 4-point rear module with sensors on 50, 48, 12 and 8 million pixels.
The new design will be identical to the current version. The official presentation of Vivo X Ford S can take place in the current quarter.
