The first manned flight of Boeing Starliner to ISS was postponed until 2023

Boeing and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration are postponed to a later date.

The CST-100 Starliner Boeing will become another spaceship for U.S. manned space, and will be operated alongside the Crew Dragon of SpaceX.

The first manned Starliner launch to ISS was planned for December of this year, but it is now reported that specialists will need more time to address a number of problems identified during the Orbital Flight Test 2 test mission in May 2022.

During this mission to ISS, two orbital manoeuvring and orientation control engines were disabled prematurely, which helps to dock the spacecraft with the orbital complex, and excessive pressure in the Starliner thermoregulation system has also been recorded.

The new date for Starliner's first manned launch is February 2023.
