The Slovenian company EK Water Blocks, a famous liquid cooling system developer, announced an EK-Quantum Lumen display that can be installed inside a computer shell with a transparent side wall or used as a small external monitor.
It's new on the 7 inch IPS matrix and resolution 1024 x 600 pixels. It's talking about the bright color palette and the wide angles of view, although the exact values are not given.
Any information can be displayed on the screen. For example, the user can output data on the system's condition — coolant temperature, CPU or GPU, system loading level, etc. The data can be shown in digital form and graphic format.
The connection to the computer is performed via the HDMI 2.0 interface and the USB 2.0 internal interface. When using the panel as an external monitor, the connection is performed with the USB Type-C cable.
The display frame is made of a single aluminium bar, with options available in black, silver and nickel performances. The dimensions are 192 x 112 x 16.1 mm. The indicative price of EK-Quantum Lumen is 136 euros.
