Ethereum has published a plan to renew the network, which could start on 10 September

Ethereum has updated the plan to move the network to the Proof-of-Stake model, where classical engineering will go back to the past. According to the new road map, updating the block can start as early as September 10, says on the project's blog.

Ethereum's transition to the new algorithm is marked Merge; the event will take place in several stages. The first update of the box called Bellatrix is scheduled for September 6. If the first update is successful, the second will be launched, Paris, which will start when the Terminal Total Difficult reaches the desired value.

The specific launch date of the Paris update will depend on the productivity of the hash network, which will take place between 10 and 20 September 2022. The creator of Ethereum Vitalique Buterin reported that the Merge event would take place on an estimated date of 15 September, although it was originally scheduled for the end of August.
