Twitter's social media network has experienced a high level of staff departure in the face of a series of scandals, with Reuters reporting on the audio tape of the corporate meeting, and the situation is linked to the upcoming litigation between the company and Ilon Mask.
The audio recorded by journalists reported that 18.3% of the employees had left the company; prior to the conflict with Ilon Mask, the percentage of dismissals ranged from 14 to 16%, which was consistent with competitors; the exact reason is not known, but many analysts believe that the root of the problem lies in the prolonged noise around the social media due to spam and the security problems of the platform.
In April 2022, a businessman agreed to buy a $44 billion social network, but demanded disclosure of the fairy and spam accounts on the platform. Without receiving the desired data, he refused to buy, and the company then filed a lawsuit against him, finding the business to be a violation of the agreements reached. At the end of July, Mask filed a counter-claim, but asked the court not to disclose its details.
In addition, the company entered the center of the scandal after the former head of Twitter security, Pieter Zatko, also misled the board of directors. In the service, the charges were rejected, calling security and confidentiality the platform's top priorities.
The Twitter trial with Ilon Mask is scheduled to take place on 17 October, before the Zatko hearing is scheduled to take place on 13 September.
