Starlink's satellite Internet has sunk in some regions — places almost doubled

SpaceX's satellite Internet service, Starlink, has announced a reduction in the cost of monthly subscriptions to subscribers in some regions.

Sees as an example the Verge resource a notification received by a service subscriber in the Netherlands.

In other regions of the world, for example, the user of the Reddit resource from the United Kingdom reported a decline in the monthly price of Starlink from Pound89 to Pound75. In Mexico, a reduction in the tariff to 1,100 Mexican pesos is reported. Users in Chile and Brazil report a drop in the price of Starlink services by about 50%. A sample check of the relevant Starlink service pages in each country, conducted by The Verge, confirmed the above-mentioned reports.

U.S. users claim, however, that they did not receive any discounts from Starlink, although one Nevada subscriber reported that the price was reduced to $85 at a normal cost of $110 per month.

It should be noted that the price reduction announcement does not mention a reduction in speed or the addition of any other restrictions, as was the case in France, where, together with a double reduction in Starlink user fees, a restriction on the consumption of traffic was imposed.
