Microsoft is testing a new animation of the taskbar elements in Windows 11

Microsoft often tests several different animations and designs at the same time for the same elements of its operating system. Network sources report that developers have now started testing the new animation of the task panel icons in Windows 11, which users can observe immediately after downloading the software platform.

The new animation uses the effect of increasing the icons on the task panel, whereas previously when downloading the desktop, they came up from the bottom of the screen. This change may seem small, but it is well visible by comparing two animations together. It is not known at this point what animation will appear in a stable version of Windows 11, as different versions are tested simultaneously in assemblies available to participants in the Windows Insider pre-assessment program.

It is more likely that a new version of the animation used in the task panel will not be included in the next major update of Windows 11, which is due to be released in September. Also, users should not expect to be able to change the location of the task panel because this is not a priority for developers. This is also due to the fact that Microsoft continues to optimize the animation of the taskbar and the "Pusk" menu, and it is not now possible to implement the support for the other location of the taskbar.
